Hi! My name is Brette Huff and as a sixth-generation Western Slope local, the San Juan Mountains aren't just my office—they are my heritage. When I’m not scouting mountain venues or navigating high-altitude logistics, you will find me exploring the trails, out on the golf course, or discovering the region's best culinary experiences.

I believe the most memorable celebrations are a direct reflection of who you are. For my clients, that means stepping away from standard wedding traditions and fully immersing themselves and their guests in the beauty of Colorado.

My approach to wedding production began with a clear philosophy: a wedding should never feel like a stressful, one-day performance. It should be a seamless, authentic experience from the moment your guests arrive. Merging an adventurous spirit with the art of sophisticated, intentional event design is where Wild Poppy sets the standard.

Planning a weekend experience across our mountain corridors—from Crested Butte to Telluride and Ouray—demands specialized local expertise. I know exactly how the changing light hits the peaks for your portraits, which exclusive venues offer the most breathtaking backdrops, and how to manage the complex logistics of remote mountain production. And because exceptional food is a personal passion of mine, I hand-select the culinary teams who create masterpieces, not just meals.
